Future JUMO apprentices informed themselves about their new workplace

First Exciting Insight into a High-Tech Company

In a few months a new phase of life will begin for the prospective JUMO apprentices. JUMO once again hosted the now traditional get-together to make the apprentices start at the company easier and ease their nerves before their first day at work. The two days of getting to know each other has become an unforgettable event that lays the foundation for a successful apprenticeship.

The traditional information and introductory day took place at JUMO over two days (one day for commercial professions and IT as well as one day for industrial and technical professions). It offered the future apprentices and their parents an excellent opportunity to get to know the company personally. The event not only eliminated uncertainties, but also promoted communication between the new apprentices and experienced apprentices from the older year groups. A total of 43 young people will be starting an apprenticeship, dual degree course, or one-year internship at JUMO on August 1.

Dimitrios Charisiadis and Dr. Steffen Hoßfeld, Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer at JUMO, warmly welcomed the future apprentices along with their parents and introduced the company. Alexandra Dantmann, Head of Human Resources at JUMO, then explained the apprenticeship program. Tamara Stauch, responsible for the commercial professions and IT, and Frank Blasinger, responsible for the industrial and technical professions, explained the respective apprenticeship opportunities.

The introductory days also gave the future apprentices and their parents the opportunity to find out about JUMO's diverse product portfolio in the field of measurement and control technology in a practical manner during a tour of the company.

"The introductory days were a great success and give the young people the perfect start at JUMO," Frank Blasinger was pleased to say. "It was impressive to see how quickly new contacts were made and how committed the future apprentices already are. We are confident that they will have a successful apprenticeship with us," added Tamara Stauch.
This format at JUMO has once again proven that the company places great importance on individual advancement and a positive working atmosphere.
